What is Create?

We are an art gallery and design store based within the Bedruthan Hotel in a gorgeous corner of Cornwall. We hand select artwork and design-led products to feature in our gallery, design store and the walls of both the Bedruthan Hotel and its sister hotel, The Scarlet, available for our guests and visitors to buy.

As well offering an eclectic mix of hand curated Cornish and Scandinavian inspired products, we also host art and craft workshops and classes – to feed those creative souls.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No you can order as a guest account with us. However, by creating an account with us we will keep you informed so you won’t miss out on any offers or our latest news.

How do I place an order from your website?

Once you’ve picked out your perfect piece, simply click ‘add to basket’ and then once you’ve finished shopping, you can view your basket where you can then ‘checkout’. From this page follow the instructions – filling in your shipping and billing details carefully so we can process your payment.

If you’re purchasing a piece of artwork, we advise you to contact us on enquiries@createcornwall.com prior to purchasing so we can get a courier quote for you. Once you have confirmed you’re happy with price of delivery and have purchased the piece, we will contact you for the courier payment separately.

What shipping methods are available for my artwork?

We ship all of our artwork via our trusted art courier. You have the option of either collecting your item(s) for free from the gallery or choosing to have a courier deliver to you. Courier costs will need to be calculated so please request a quote prior to purchasing to make sure you’re happy with the cost of delivery.

How long will it take to receive my delivery?

Your art will be shipped within three working days after payment has been received. Packages will take approximately 5-7 days to reach you. If you have not received your package within 7 days, please contact the Create team on either 01637 861 222 or enquiries@createcornwall.com so we can investigate this for you.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to the UK and don’t ship internationally, however we hope to soon so please keep an eye out or sign up to our newsletter to make sure you’re kept in the know!

What is your returns policy?

If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us via enquiries@createcornwall.com within 48 hours of receiving your item(s) so we can set the wheels in motion for your return.

We will ask you to return the goods in the original packaging with the original delivery note using our secure art couriers. We only refund the costs of the goods – the cost of postage and packaging will not be refunded. All art must be returned using our art courier service.

Refunds usually take 7-10 working days to process. If you have not received your refund within 10 working days, please contact the Create team on 01637 861 222 or enquiries@createcornwall.com so we can investigate and resolve the delay for you.

How can I return a damaged product?

Should the worst happen, and you receive a damaged product, please email us at enquiries@createcornwall.com within 48 hours of your delivery arriving. In this email, please inform us of the nature of the fault, quoting your Order ID and photos so we can assess the fault.

We will arrange for the work to be collected by secure art courier.

Refunds usually take 7-10 working days to process. If you have not received your refund within 10 working days, please contact the Create team on 01637 861 222 or enquiries@createcornwall.com so we can investigate and resolve the delay for you.

What is your policy on using coupon codes?

If you have been given a unique coupon code, this can only be used once before the expiry date and on products specified. If you are using a coupon code from any other outlet (e.g.: newsletter or social media) this can only be used within the specified dates and on products specified.

How can I cancel or change my order?

If you have placed an order, but have changed your mind you must contact us within one working hour to let us know so we can either cancel and refund you, or make any amendments on your behalf. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Paypal (subject to a 3% surcharge) payments online.  If you would prefer to pay over the phone, please call one of the Create team on 01637 861 222.

How do I book a place on one of your craft workshops or classes?

To book a place on to one of our craft workshops or classes, call us on 01637 860 860 or email us at stay@bedruthan.com. Please note that workshops require a minimum number of people in order to run. You can find this number on the page of the specific workshop you are interested in. If minimum numbers are not met 7 days prior to the date of the workshop it will be cancelled and you will be offered a refund or a choice of alternative dates.
